Colour : Elegant straw yellow color and brilliant Nose : Characterized by its taste of yellow, the wine has aromas reminiscent of dried fruit, walnut in particular, very ripe apple, candied fruit and spices (curry, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, ...). The intensity is impressive on the nose. Palate : Round at the attack with a nice structure supported by a light acidity, it offers a nice length in the mouth with persistent aromas of nuts and undergrowth.

Château Chalon is a perfect match for poultry and fish in cream sauce. Try it with a morel crust! It magnifies a cassolette of snails crayfish and goes wonderfully well with foie gras. Its power makes it the best revelator of cheeses including the strongest. But you can also enjoy it as an aperitif with a few cubes of Comté cheese.
