This very old vineyard is located on the great terroir of Lussac. Château La Grande Clotte is the fifth Michel Rolland’s estate located on the right bank. On the 7 hectares red wine vineyard, some are more than 60 years old. A replanting program is currently in progress to adapt in the best possible way the grape variety to the terroir. With all the care given to the vineyard: thinning out of the leaves, green harvest, in addition to a patch-by-patch harvest at full ripeness and in little baskets, a sorting out table is in place, fermentation with temperature control system, Château La Grande Clotte benefits from all the experience of Rolland's team. An ageing in small tanks and an early bottling allow the preservation of the fruit and the elegance.

Rouge - A lovely red colour with garnet tints.

Ripe fruit notes (raspberry, blackberry) with spice and vanilla touch.

Well-balanced and elegant.The finish is very fresh and long.
