Delicious, appetizingly dry and fully mature. This beautifully orchestrated variation of Talisker has a lingering finish that cannot outstay its welcome. A single malt Scotch whiskey that was predominantly matured in American oak hogsheads with some European oak refill.
AT NOSE
Banana fritters, sea spray, old oak furniture, cider apples, a whiff of Frazzles, all held together with crumbly fudge notes.
IN MOUTH
Floral heather - perhaps a hint of rose too. Develops heavier notes of salted caramel, chili chocolate, smoky barley, and nectarines.
